Becky Franks UKCP
Counsellor and Psychotherapist
Becky works from the Humanistic and Existential schools of thought, but is also informed by some Psychodynamic, CBT and Mindfulness based ideas. The nature of this integration allows her to go way beyond a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and to work with a person as an individual with their own bespoke needs and requirements.
Every person is different, and although there can be similarities (broadly speaking) in types of issues requiring therapy, such as bereavement or anger issues etc, Becky never treats a client based on a ‘label’, as there are so many other factors and influences on why a person may be struggling, and these need to come out in the process naturally and be considered. Becky has completed an extensive training at both post graduate and advanced level, and has been working with clients in North London for nine years. She is UKCP accredited and works in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the UK Counsel for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
